Challenging established development models toward the city’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan, the proposal is a 12 story, cross laminated timber, multi-family building within the historic Warehouse District of Minneapolis.

Wood is used as structure and finish, providing the finish floor, ceiling and skin.  Light is modulated from within by operable wood screens, creating a dynamic wood facade with varying layers of transparency.

The 132-foot-tall frame will make it the tallest mass-timber structure in the country, housing nine floors of living units above ground-level mixed use space. Guided by the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Gold standards, material selections aim to minimize its carbon footprint and maximize energy efficiency.
